Creating Abilities: a public home for disability inclusion work.
Creating Abilities works across disability inclusion, education, employment, healthcare and accessibility. The website needed to carry the scale of that mission without turning it into a dense institutional document.
We organised the content around the questions a visitor was likely to bring: what the organisation does, where it works, which projects are active and how someone can help.

Information architecture
The homepage moves from the purpose and scale of the issue into programme areas, recent initiatives, organisational aims, testimonials, projects, offices and volunteering. That sequence gives a new visitor enough context before asking them to act.
Programme and project storytelling
Education, employment, healthcare and accessibility were treated as distinct areas with a shared visual language. Project imagery and clear labels helped the organisation show the breadth of its work without flattening every initiative into the same template.
Global contact and volunteering
Office information and volunteering pathways were made visible rather than buried in the footer. For a nonprofit, trust often depends on showing where the organisation works and how a person can reach it.

Reflection
Mission-led websites still need editorial discipline. The organisation had a great deal to say, so the design work was largely about deciding what a visitor needed first and what could wait until later in the page.
