1. Information you can browse without providing
You can read the public website without creating an account. At launch, this website does not run advertising trackers or behavioural analytics scripts.
Standard hosting and security systems may process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, and security events. This information is used to operate, protect and troubleshoot the website.
2. Information you choose to send
The Contact page includes a project-brief composer. The composer prepares a message in your browser. The website does not send or store the message on a Design & Code server.
When you choose “Email this brief,” your email application opens with the information filled in. The information is then handled by your email provider and ours.
When you choose “Send on WhatsApp,” WhatsApp opens with the information filled in. The information is then handled through WhatsApp and Meta under their own terms and privacy practices.
You may provide your name, email address, organisation, project information, timing, budget range and any link you choose to include.
3. How we use enquiry information
We use information you send to:
- read and respond to the enquiry;
- understand whether and how we may be able to help;
- arrange a call or prepare a proposal;
- maintain normal business correspondence;
- comply with legal, accounting or security obligations where applicable.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We will use your details for promotional communication only when there is a separate appropriate basis and a clear way to opt out.
4. WhatsApp, email and external services
Email, WhatsApp and any external site linked from designandcode.tech operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Review those services before sending sensitive information.
Do not use the website or project brief to send passwords, payment-card information, medical records, government identification numbers or other highly sensitive data.
5. Retention
We keep business enquiries and correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate or deliver a potential engagement, maintain records and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on whether an enquiry becomes an active client relationship and on the nature of the correspondence.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We may share information with service providers that support email, communication, hosting, security, accounting or professional advice, subject to appropriate obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety and systems.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may ask for information about personal data we hold, request correction or deletion, withdraw a consent that was the basis for processing, or raise a grievance.

Design & Code services and this website are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal data through this website.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the website and the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

We may update this policy when the website, data flows or applicable requirements change. The reviewed date at the top will be updated when a material revision is published.
