Design & Code is the product design and engineering studio of Desicode Infosolutions LLP. We work on websites, platforms, e-commerce and custom applications for clients in India and other markets.
The short version is that we are computer engineers who became product people by doing the work. The longer version starts with a hosting bill.
Hosting Seva begins with a practical complaint.
Saurabh Soparkar, Prem Raval and Suraj Pawar were studying engineering and building projects when they reviewed what they were spending on domains and hosting. Small businesses needed the service, but pricing and support often felt difficult to justify. They studied the market and started Hosting Seva.
The venture reached break-even within six months and grew to support more than 100 clients. More importantly, it gave the founders an early view of what clients expected after a website went live.
Desicode Infosolutions LLP is incorporated.
The three founders formalised the wider company and Design & Code became its studio for product strategy, design and engineering.
Early work came from corporate projects, nonprofits, academic experiments, hackathons and referrals. Some assignments were focused websites. Others became marketplaces, learning platforms, member services and internal systems.
The studio has grown, but the working habit is familiar.
More than 200 projects later, we still begin by understanding how the business works. The team combines a core group with specialists across design, engineering, infrastructure, search and immersive technology when the brief needs them.
What shaped us
Engineering made us curious about the whole system.
A screen rarely fails alone. Data, process, content, incentives and support all show up in the experience eventually.
Small-business work made us practical.
A recommendation has to consider budget, ownership and maintenance, not only what would look best in a case study.
Enterprise work made us disciplined.
More stakeholders and older systems reward clear decisions, careful boundaries and documentation people can use.
Nonprofit work kept the audience in view.
Clear language and accessible pathways matter most when the organisation cannot afford for the interface to become a barrier.
